Bio |
| Cyr author: para-chan |
Cyr is a fiery red-head, quite literally. He has salamander blood, being half human as well. He is a working boy of "negotiable virtue," but some standards. While he doesn't seem to dislike his line of work, his true passion is for cooking. There are gaps in Cyr's memories, filled with flames and screams. He knows little of where he truly came from. Cyr is odd eyed, a sign of one with the Sight, and indeed Cyr is a Seer. He controls his Sight, limiting it to just one eye by keeping the other covered with a fall of his beautiful red hair.
| Kemuri author: para-chan |
Kemuri
is a Third, the hermaphroditic third sex of the smoke people of
volcanic reigons. Hys skin is the color of smoke, pale and gray, hair
light and bouyant, as if the shafts were full of air. The
smoke-children have no spoken language, no ability to vocalize. All
information is passed through skin-to-skin contact. Kemuri was separated from hys people when they had to leave their home and find a new one. Hy wasleft behind because hy was not useful for he continuation of the species. pronouns for the Third: hy, hym, hys |

| Litha author: para-chan |
A
small and apparently quite young dragon who is known to accompany Peri.
Little is known of her, save that she is capable of speaking
mind-to-mind with others capable of this form of communication and that
she is utterly and frighteningly cute. An energetic youngling. Shown perched on Peri's shoulder in the image. |
|
| Newt author: para-chan |
Newt is the androgynous apothecary. A fairly powerful empath, Newt is capable of sensing the feelings of every being in The End by simply removing the synthetic knit cap that acts as a shield. Newt runs the apothecary and candy shop with friend and roomie Karog. While it is clear that Newt lacks as a cook, the youthful-seeming androgyne more than makes up for it in the ability to bake and make candy.
| Peri author: para-chan |
Peri
is, as the name implies, peri, the child of a fallen angel. It isn't
clear, yet, how he came to The End nor his actual age. He works as a
courier and helps out waiting tables around the Silver Heron Inn.
Tamsin refers to him as a "walking arsenal," and he is quite often
well-armed. He is also clearly familiar with the use and maintenance of
all his weapons. He is often seen accompanied by a small dragon called
Litha. As much as it would seem that a pretty peri could lead a normal
life at The End, some of his deliveries can get a bit exciting. As
well, Peri is a conduit, used by unknown Powers as a messenger of
sorts, whether he wants to or not. see also: Silence, Tashvi |
|
| Saskyia author: para-chan |
Saskyia is Tamsin's granddaughter who lives and works at the Silver Heron. She is faerie to a fault, enjoying the simple things in life, so long as they are pretty, shiny, or very expensive. She has a sharp tongue and a sharp wit she clearly inherited from her grandfather. She also has a reputation of being a bit excessively nosy. Try to be patient with her. As faeries go, she's still young, and has a few hundred more years to get by on cute.
| Silence author: para-chan |
When
imprisoned thousands of years ago, Silence was more than willing to
sleep forever. Awakened, he wanted only to hide from the world, to
return to sleep. But something disturbs his rest, bringing him back to
the world he does not want to live in. |
|
| Tamsin author: para-chan |
Tamsin is an ancient faerie (don't ask how old, cause he won't tell you) who runs the Silver Heron Inn in The End. He is a cranky old man at best, and a handsome faerie, if you don't mind the scars. His wings were removed long ago, against his will. He is the type who is stubborn enough to survive, knowing that living well is the best revenge (with creative retribution taking a close second).
| Tashvi author: para-chan |
It
is said that angels are not of one specific gender, but able to choose.
It is also said that peri are capable of the same. Few know Tashvi as
the female form of Peri, but it seems she is hiding a deeper secret
behind her sad, sad eyes. |

Bio |
| Dreysta author: L-chan |
Dreysta's name was given to him by the dragons. In their ancient tongue, it means dragon song, and once he had a voice worthy of such a name. He was a bard, living with his song and story as his coin. Quite possibly the best. Circumstances beyond his control cost him his voice and his ability to play instruments. It is not clear if this condition is permanent, but for now he must rely on other skills to make his way. Dreysta is a gentleman with a strong sense of justice, who acts because he believes it is right to do so. He is skilled with a rapier as well.
| Fife author: L-chan |
In the early days, the books came to the End, settling in a library on the ground that was originally part of the End. To keep the books, Fife -- a quiet, owlish boy -- appeared. Since then, he has not aged, he has not changed, and he has not left the library. All he knows of the worlds beyond the library's walls he has learned from reading books. Like any good librarian, he is almost unnaturally quiet, shuffling about the library barefoot. Shy to fault, Fife is often found wearing many layers of clothing. Fife is a boy of many words, all of them contained in the books he will gladly show to anyone who comes to the library. After all, people come to see the books, not the librarian. Right?
| Karog author: L-chan |
One of the partners in running The End's apothecary shop, Karog tells very little of himself or his past. He is a crow of sorts, and has traveled much in his time. He seems content in The End, and appears to like the work he does at the apothecary, along with having some affection for his business partner, Newt.
| Taliesin author: L-chan |
The
boy with the name of a bard from Celtic mythology, Taliesin claims to
be no bard. This shining boy is the son of the Lady; she is the
embodiment of the Moon. Described as having pale hair, pale eyes, a
bright crystal set in his forehead, and an ever-present strand of green
glass beads at his throat, Taliesin has revealed little of himself,
save for that he is on a quest to return a sword stolen from the Lady.
While this may sound simple, little is known of the sword, neither who
stole it nor to whom it is to be returned. If you'd like to get to know Taliesin, buy him a drink, but beware, he has a taste for rare and unusual beverages. Don't worry, though. Tamsin can mix just about anything. |
|
| Cair author: L-chan |
Cair
was created of the Void and Its desire for the world of creation to
understand It. As the Angels had forsaken the Void, It sent Its child
first to the Demons, who were sure to understand. Such was not the case
and Cair was given scars as proof of this before the demons who so
tormented him were taken by the Void in Its ire. Thus it is that he now
travels, in hopes of bringing understanding to the worlds. To fulfull
this end, he travels as a teacher, bringing not just the word of the
Goddess and his mother, but also languages, philosophy, and, more
often, simply reading and writing. |

Bio |
| Jhrdwyn author: angel |
Jhrdwyn (pronounced like Jordan) is a street rat. It isn't clear if he is an orphan or how he came to be at The End. He survives by doing odd jobs for tips and picking pockets, both of which he is very good at. He's also not so bad with small daggers, both in up-close combat and throwing. He is small, looking like an undernourished child of ten, even though he's nearly thirteen. He keeps his hair long, pulled into a loose braid that hangs past his waist. His eyes are a shade of blue-grey that makes you think that you might be looking into a very old soul, or as if that very old soul is looking directly into you. He is very observant, preferring to watch the action from the sidelines, shadows, or underneath tables.
| Lucifer author: angel |
An enigmatic being, Lucifer often appears disguised as Bren, a blond-haired, blue-eyed, scholarly young man. Beneath this illusion hides an ancient being long believed to have ceased to exist. Labeled the Bringer of Light, the Morning Star, the Father of Lies, and the First of the Fallen, the truth behind this one time Angel of Light has yet to be revealed.
| Ryo-inu author: angel |
Ryo-inu is a wolf-spirit, a kind of exotic shape-shifter. At first glance, he may seem fae, pookah or were of some sort, carved from ice and moonlight, the face of a boy of sixteen, and small of stature. He is a trained priest and a traveling healer, neither by choice. An extension of his healing power is an empathy he has little control over, save for shielding out the constant bombardment of others' feelings. His skills are used by unknown Powers, who move him from place to place to do their bidding. In his travels, he has trained as an ice mage, proficient in ice and water magics, but he has difficulty adjusting quickly to the energies in new places. His staff, which seems more an extension of him than a tool, can be used for both defense and offense, as a weapon or a magical tool.
| Sei author: angel |
A little black cat or a boy of 15 with unusual eyes? Kept in a box by parents who considered him a freak, peddled as entertainment to whomever would pay, Sei is an unusual shapeshifter with a shadowed background. Almost unhealthily thin with amber-gold cat-eyes and eternally-tousled hair, he can be curious, outgoing, and good-natured, once you get to know him, but beneath his innocent and almost child-like surface lurk deep emotional scars.
| Sen author: angel |
A rare dark-skinned sidhe, hair of sapphire, eyes of moonstone, his entire being seeming to have a faint blue gemstone lustre and gemfire in the depths of his eyes. He's very easygoing, if a bit secretive, speaking little of himself. Sen is quite the playboy, and he likes things that are interesting and pretty.
| Xiang author: angel |
An unusual elf-like creature known only as a Dark, Xiang speaks very little of his past. He was raised in opulence but threw it all away for some unspecific reason. Now, he works as a mercenary and hired assassin. He likes good company and fine wine.
